HTTP Archive
HTTP Archive tests millions of sites from the Chrome UX Report each month and detects their technology with Wappalyzer. We count sites on AI builders, calculate each platform's share of the sites crawled, and do not store site data.

What the data shows
Computed from every record, as of 2026-09.
- WordPress ran 14.8% of the top 1 million sites in 2026-09, against 17.9% a year earlier, and 31.1% of all crawled sites in 2026-09, against 34.2% a year earlier. This data shows the fall, not its cause.
- Lovable and Emergent went from 2,137 crawled sites in 2025-12 to 6,768 in 2026-09, against 2,714,694 on WordPress. The crawl only lists sites with enough Chrome traffic, so this undercounts them.

Limitations
- The list of sites changes each month, so we compare shares rather than raw counts.
- It only covers sites with enough Chrome traffic to be listed, so it misses most new or small sites.
- Only each site's landing page is tested, and detection rules change, so a platform can appear or vanish because of a rule.
- A falling share does not show why. Sites can move platform, lose traffic or close.
- Lovable and Emergent are only detected from December 2025, so their earlier sites are not counted.
